Dan Rhodes, Director
Dan has over 15 years experience recruiting in the IT Security space, with success with Vendors, Managed Service Providers, and Channel partners across EMEA, APAC, and the US. Dan has also recently been assisting clients in the identity and access management, and next generation end-point security arena, with contract and permanent placements, where his ability to find niche skills in the market has delivered results with fantastic references.
Dan has a track record of success with a combination of Pre IPO start-ups, privately held technology businesses and major corporate firms. Outside of work Dan spends time with family, socialising, and trying to improve at Crossfit!
Damian Bird, Director
Damian has more than fifteen years experience in executive search across EMEA, North America and Asia Pacific, successfully recruiting from executive leadership (CxO) to strategic individual contributors, for a diverse client base including Fortune 100 companies through to early stage or high growth, often venture backed businesses. All his clients are within the enterprise software, services and or business consulting arenas.Prior to Usurpo Damian worked for a number of respected executive recruitment businesses as Director, Partner and Managing Consultant.
Historically Damian has specialised within traditional enterprise markets including ERP, SCM, CRM and Business Intelligence.In more recent years Damian has focused on emerging and next generation technologies, particularly within the omni-channel arena across ecommerce, mobile commerce, payments, next generation analytics and Big Data in the Cloud.Damian is Vice Chairman at the CSA – Continental Search Alliance. A formation of 12 closely aligned and collaborative boutique search firms across 11 European countries. This gives Usurpo unparalleled local knowledge and insight in all the countries CSA operates in.Damian holds a masters degree in digital practices and is an avid fan of advanced (technical) scuba diving, mountains and hill walking.
